Welcome to The Ministry of
Pastor Jim Hood
God made Himself known to me when I was four years old. We lived in Wright City, Oklahoma. There was a church behind our house and I would sit on the fence and watch the people through the church windows. After watching them I would preach in my back yard using okra stalks for parishioners and an old washtub for my platform.
In school, my teacher would let me go from class to class telling funny stories that made everybody laugh.
When I came to Christ, the Lord called me to preach His wonderful gospel and he told me to use the special gift that He had given me to do it.
It was the gift of humor and I have been using it ever since to preach His message of salvation. Click Here to Read Jim’s Story
